Customizing Your eCard & Box Card Design

Every Sugarwish includes two design elements you can personalize: a digital eCard (shown in the gift email and online redemption experience) and a printed box card (a 5x5 note card inside the physical box). The Gift Genie suggests designs for both based on your occasion and recipients — and you can change either one during the eCard & Box Card step of the Genie, or later from the eCard and Box Card section of your proposal.

Changing Your Design

Click Change eCard or Change Box Card to open the design picker. You have three options:

Our Designs

Browse hundreds of designs filtered by occasion. Search by keyword or use the occasion chips to narrow it down.

Custom Designs

Select from your previously uploaded images, or create a new one from a branded template. Templates automatically include your logo if one has been uploaded to your account.

Upload

Use your own image as the eCard or box card.

eCard image guidelines:

  • Recommended size: 800x600 pixels or larger
  • Formats: PNG, JPG, GIF, or SVG (up to 5MB)
  • Displayed in emails and online redemption

Box card image guidelines:

  • Recommended size: 800x600 pixels or larger
  • Formats: PNG or JPG only — GIFs not supported for printing (up to 5MB)
  • Printed as a 5x5 inch note card

AI Design Editing

Click the wand button next to your eCard or box card to open the AI editor. Describe your edit in plain text — for example, "Add my logo and use my logo colors" or "Change the text to say Happy Birthday." You can attach a file like your logo for the AI to reference.
