How to Send a Sugarwish Using the Gift Genie

Sending a Sugarwish is quick, easy, and a fun way to spread some sweetness! This guide walks you through how to send gifts using our Gift Genie — no login required to get started.

Step-by-Step: Sending a Sugarwish

  1. Launch the Gift Genie

    Click Launch Gift Genie in the top navigation at desk.sugarwish.com (or from your Happiness Dashboard). No account needed to start!

  2. Tell us about your gift

    Answer a few quick questions:

    • What's the occasion? (Birthday, Thank You, Appreciation, and more)

    • Who are you celebrating? (Employee, Client, Colleague, etc.)

    • How many gifts are you sending?

    • When should we send them? Pick a shared date, or choose Add Later to set individual dates per recipient.

    • What gift size would you like? (Mini at $27 through Grand at $139 — all prices include the custom note card, box card, gift box, US shipping, and tax)

    • Would you like to add a custom branded item? (Optional — water bottles, tumblers, mugs, journals, and more)

  3. Enter your info

    Tell us your name and email. You can optionally add your company name and create a free account by adding a password.

  4. Review your gift proposal

    You'll land on your personalized gift proposal where you can:

    • Customize the eCard design and gift message

    • Add recipients — enter emails manually, paste from a list, or upload a CSV file

    • Set individual send dates per recipient if needed

    • Upload your company logo for branded notecards

  5. Add to Cart & Checkout

    When everything looks good, click Add to Cart. You'll be directed to checkout to complete payment.

That's it! You can track recipient activity and view sent gifts anytime from your Happiness Dashboard.
